PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT

This Privacy Policy details the approach that The Primex Internet Group takes to the use of personal information from, and related to, our customers.

At The Primex Internet Group we use information collected on-line to develop and enhance the services we offer to you and to help us build our business. We take privacy issues seriously and are open about the way data is collected and used. This policy outlines the principles that we follow.

What data is collected and how is it used?
When you visit a Primex Internet Group website, the only data that we capture is that submitted via e-mail, by submission of a feedback form or by completion of an order form. Such data is maintained only for so long as necessary in order to fulfill your feedback request or order.

When you register for a service provided by The Primex Internet Group, you will need to choose a user name and password for authentication purposes. For administration purposes, we will also require your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. This may be used to send you information about your account and any Primex Internet Group promotions. You may elect not to receive such promotions.

Is personal information disclosed to Third Parties?
Not unless Primex uses a 3rd party to provision a service that you have ordered. The Primex Internet Group does not sell, trade, lease or rent your personal information to others that it collects. The primary use that we make of personal information is to produce aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic and related information but these statistics do not include any personally identifying information. If you have ordered a service that requires your details to be given to a 3rd party that 3rd party will only use the information to provision the service you have ordered. *** see the exceptions at the end of this document

Is personal information used for any other purposes?
Some services, such as broadband, are provisioned by our partners. We will have to pass your name and address over to them so that they can install the service. Primex uses Enta Net and BT to provision our ADSL broadband and neither of these companies will pass on any details.

From time to time The Primex Internet Group may employ other companies and individuals to work on our behalf. Examples of such work might include: sending e-mail, analysing data and providing customer call-centre services. Such agents have access to the personal information needed to perform their functions but may not use it for other purposes.

Our Quality Control department may contact you as part of our continuous quality development programme. Such calls will be made only to identify your experience of our services and to elicit your suggestions for improvement. You will be under no obligation to answer any such questions.

We may ask our market research partners to contact you by telephone as part of a survey of our services. You will be able to choose at the time whether or not you want to take part in any such survey.

If you use a Primex Internet Group transactional or shopping service, we will pass information necessary to complete your order to our payment partners. Such information will typically include name, address and credit card billing details.

How is personal privacy protected?
The Primex Internet Group is registered as a Data Controller with the Data Protection Registrar and uses up to date industry procedures to keep personal data as safe and secure as possible and to protect such data against loss, unauthorised disclosure or access. Please remember that you are responsible for protecting your password/user name and must not share it or allow its disclosure it to anyone.

The Primex Internet Group reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy and continued use of our services signifies your agreement to any changes. In the event of material changes you will be contacted by e-mail.

Exceptions
There are various services that Primex provides that may require a 3rd party knowing some of your details. These services are:

• Domain name registration
• The supply of marketing numbers
• Moving your telephone bill to Primex / our telecommunications provider
• Premium rate numbers
• Voice over IP / Broadband Telephone Service
• ADSL / SDSL Broadband
• Leased Lines
• The billing of telephone services
• Website design *
• Online credit card processing
• Accepting money from you

Primex has to work with 3rd parties to provision and run the above services. These 3rd parties are our sub-contractors. We only pass over the bare minimum of details to these 3rd parties so that they can provision the required service. The companies in question are listed here so that you may seek their privacy policy if needed and they will not / should not use your details other than for the purposes we have instructed:

Primex uses a company named Enta Call to carry out provision and billing of telephone services. www.entacall.com

Primex uses a company named Enta Net to carry out the provision of ADSL/ SDSL broadband. www.enta.net

Primex uses Nominet for all .uk domain name registrations. www.nominet.org.uk

Primex uses Easy Nic for all other domain name registrations. www.easynic.com

Primex uses Interdirect Ltd for some of our higher end web design contracts. www.interdirect.co.uk

Primex uses WorldPay for our online credit card payments. www.rbsworldpay.com

Obviously our bank gets to see your payments and cheques etc. Primex uses the HSBC for banking. www.hsbc.co.uk

The exception to all services whereby we would give as much information as possible out to a 3rd party could be for collection of a debt or where we have exhausted all other means of obtaining payment from you and have had no alternative but to pass on your details to a debt collecting agency - to date Primex has never used a 3rd party to collect monies owed and therefore we have never passed anyones details in this manner to a 3rd party, but we reserve the right to do so.
